I’ve been a Registered Dietitian since 2008 and have spent most of my career helping people heal their relationship with food and their body. I consider myself a non diet dietitian. My approach is patient-centered and weight inclusive. This means I believe it’s essential to look at the whole person, mind and body, when discussing health and wellness and focus on change from a behavioral perspective versus the number on the scale. I also believe that all bodies come in different shapes, sizes, colors, genders, and that all bodies are welcome in this world! In 2024, I became a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals who have struggled with eating disorders and disordered eating, diabetes, bariatric surgery, to name a few, but seem to have found my niche working with binge eating disorders and neurodivergent individuals. I do my best to offer trauma informed and gender affirming care and continue to grow and learn on a variety of topics each and every day. I would be honored to be a part of your healing journey!
Outside of my work, I enjoy walks, biking, slow pitch softball, bowling, camping, and going to concerts or festivals throughout the year. I also enjoy home improvement projects. When I’m needing more rest, I enjoy playing cards or games with my family and friends, making puzzles, crocheting, listening to audiobooks or podcasts, or watching rom com movies. I enjoy seasonal cooking and baking when time and energy allow or eating out and supporting local restaurants when time and energy does not!
